When does Georgina do the follow up article on that gutter piece she wrote recently?

All the journos are probably delighted that the "cash strapped" ARU have appointed another head coach as director of rugby over Cheika. Costing exactly the same amount as sacking him whilst doing absolutely nothing to solve the problem at all (what's Scott Johnson win loss in international rugby)

Via Wikipedia a 31% win/loss ratio from being a head coach on 16 occasions to Tier 1 and 2 countries.

Probably irrelevant. I don't see Cheika accepting this kind of oversight easily, even if Johnson's Director of Rugby time at Scotland is impressive(?). His coaching record is completely underwhelming and his best efforts were as an assistant to Steve Hansen and Graham Henry. It's more likely going to become just one more in a litany of disastrous decisions by this board.

I’ve seen mentioned that their tactic may be to force Cheiks to accept outside/alternative assistance etc, and making the job so untenable for him that he spits the dummy and resigns thereby saving them the payout. Dirty tactics are just their style.

As poor as Cheika’s results are he deserves better treatment than this.

Scotland aren’t unhappy about saying goodbye to Johnson. Speaks volumes.

O’Neill touted to replace Uncle Cam just no. That will make things worse than they are.

Lol JON the name on everyone's lips...IN SYDNEY

Rugby is now a complete farce. Jeebus, that shill Robinson is even suggesting the Clynes tenure could be seen as successful!! During his tenure they have alienated a whole state, turned down a $70m offer from a billionaire, knifed a professional team reducing professional playing depth by 40 and coaching by 4, endured 6 losses straight to England, lost consecutive home series to England and Ireland, lost home and away to Scotland, had a 40 game losing streak to the Kiwis, has the Wallabies running at 40%, lost $qillion$ to the Rebels, facing losing Stupor Rugby, and bankrupted HQ if they cannot afford to pay out Cheika as is widely reported. Yup, that's successful....not.

If JON returns then I really am done with Australian rugby outside of WA. Forever. Thank god Twiggy has domiciled GRR in Hong Kong.

Hard though it is to believe, JON would actually be worse than Clyne.

Who else thinks that RA will do nothing and make no announcements prior to Christmas?
New news articles are in the decline and the festive season and holidays will take over.
