    Positive note:
If Coops and Way were the two refs considered for the final, then there's no issue about perceived bias if Coops now gets the gig.

As an aside, I was driving through the suburbs today on family duties with my Force cap on head and my Force sticker on my car, when I started noticing Force caps everywhere - on joggers, walkers, mums and dads watching kids play tennis, at the supermarket, walking the dog etc etc. Much more evident than Eagles, Docker or Glory colours.
Great work Force fans. Wear those Force caps, shirts and keep showing the Force colours.

    Has anybody else noticed this?

Was great to be apart of the team thru out the year and support from Queensland and travel back to watch the WSR.. congrats to a great season with the TWF Family but pitty we couldn't make the last dance again.

Talking to Jacques before the game there was talk he was 'almost suited up' with Coach Tim asking more than once for his availability... Tim, Jacques, and the officials who I spoke to yesterday or all going around again, hopefully this means majority of the players will also, another year under there belt together hopefully we can belt oppositions and revisit the Tamworth final.

Onto a question ... When did Caleb Timu ever play for Country during the season before yesterday ?

Will be interesting to see if RA continue with the NRC. Without a sponsor for it, they may decide they can’t afford it. Especially if Fiji win it!

They obviously need to replace it with the Shute Shield because there's no tribalism in the NRC.

I don't think he did - he was on international duty. He may have been around for the last round (like DHP was with us) but I don't recall any mention of him playing last week.

However, Timu was named in the Qld Country squad at the start of the year, and if he's not required by the Wallabies he's available for Qld; this isn't an amateur comp which prevents higher grade players being parachuted into a side during the finals.

Hmm - didn't see that coming. Thought Jordie would get it:
    National Rugby Championship Final

Fiji Druas vs Queensland Country at Churchill Park, Latouka
    Referee: Nicholas Berry
Assistant referees: Jordan Way, Aaron Pook

So for a match between Fiji and Queensland Country, Rugby Australia have appointed a referee panel of refs from: Brisbane, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Any chance Ravi runs on book on the number of yellow cards shown to Fiji?
