You would think a Test in Adelaide every few years would be viable, great ground, rare opportunity to see Wallabies in action against a decent competition, ohh and The Barossa, you always need a good reason to go to Adelaide, apart from just going to Adelaide

    It may be the numbers.
The largest stadium in the ACT can seat 25,000.
The last test played by the Wallabies in the ACT was against Argentina in 2017; attendance was 14,200.

But the last test played by the Wallabies in Perth was against the Springboks in 2017, where the attendance at nib (which can seat 20,000) was 17,500.

I guess the other factor is the willingness of the respective State and Territory Governments to hand over large piles of cash to the ARU/RA for the honour of hosting a Wallabies test.

But so is NZ, who would draw more $$ or crowds, All Blacks or Wallabies. Same for USA, there on a hiding to nothing. Not to mention the money they would be wasting in fighting the fight.

I think All Black v Wallaby v Springsboks tests have been way too over exposed in the last 20 years.

The only way forward is to play fewer tests, so they are eagerly awaited. Otherwise they will kill that golden goose.

Then we a need to have meaningful professional weekly hard fought club games played in timezone friendly times. eg proposed WSR, or AFL, NRL, etc

Actually Ali, I think this should be expected! RA knows there is value in Japan, and now that Forrest has (been forced to) revealed his plans which include Japan, RA are shitting like a big black Alsatian. WSR might steal the (financial) crown jewels from under SANZAAR's incompetent nose. The Sunwolves exist at the pleasure of the Top League clubs. Take away Top League support and the Sunwolves don't exist.
