    Farewell George Smith

A real shame George Smith wont be able to play this week and has now played his last game of Super Rugby. An absolute legend in all respects. I will always remember attending a Force Captain's Run in Canberra when we were all ushered into a room in the grandstand so the Force could go through a few secret moves on the field. A few of the Brumbies players were arriving for their training and George Smith went out of his way to come and say hello to us and thank us for making the trip to watch the game, even signed our Bert for us, top bloke and terrific player. Best of luck with the rest of your rugby career, I'm sure he still has plenty left in him

Massive respect for the man. Just an incredible rugby brain in his head.

I, like some others was a Brumbies fan before the Force came along. Dragged an old S12 Brumbies shirt up to the home game against the Reds game last year and got him to sign it. Had a good chat with him after the game.... super nice bloke.

A legend of the game. He should take over the nickname “Nobody”.
