CRUSADERS coach Scott Robertson labelled mining magnate Andrew Forrest a "great man" for saving the Western Force.
And he believes there is a strong future for the club with Super Rugby under a cloud after 2020 when current broadcast deals end.
Forrest bankrolled World Series Rugby after the Force were controversially axed from Super Rugby.
Robertson presented him with a Crusaders jumper after the reigning Super champions beat the Force 44-8 at nib Stadium on Friday night.
"For them to stay alive, you’ve got to give it to Andrew Forrest. He's done a great thing. A great man," Robertson said.
