I get that we got turfed out of the comp by shit circumstances but the constant bashing, bad mouthing, whinging and finding excuses is making us Sea Of Blue supporters look really terrible and fucken childish.
Lets create our own great comp, one that makes them over east want to come and enjoy because believe it or not we actually need some of their supporters to be watching us as well for us to survive and grow.
    Au Revoir!!
Cant agree with that. The game had a yellow card that ruined the contest. Whether it be the refs or players fault the game was basically a mismatch at that point. Especially that late in the game when the bodies have run out of energy and then needing to cover off all that extra space. The contest was ruined and the game (like many others) became a non spectacle. It was finals rugby where the intensity is in the upper level and the yellow card decided the game. Whether you enjoy those type of games or not is a matter of oppinion, I certainly dont.

Maybe you're right about the yellow card deciding the game but one fact is certain the tool hit the player high twice in 2 phases! Yellow card material! And correct if I'm wrong but the landers still had 15 minutes left in the game after naholo came back but couldn't get another point on the board! Please stop looking for excuses! The Waratahs aimed up on the weekend and got across the line whether we like or not! Just bloody childish arguing!

Maybe SARU will step in and ‘“ help “ the Stormers/Western Province and then chop them to “improve ” results against NZ teams and benefit SA rugby ?????

Yeah the comments on that are toxic. It's like saying "na-na-na-naaa-naaa" while you're visibly standing knee-deep in water on the deck of a sinking ship

Some good pics of the Force vs Tonga crowd stuck up beneath the eastern stand during the game. This was the keen crowd who braved it out and stayed. There was an enormous crowd of people standing underneath the eastern stand watching in the undercover parts and getting drinks regularly from the bar. A heap of people left at half time. Overall a really good effort by those who braved out the "2nd" worst conditions (i hear apparently only topped by the infamous stormers game)

There was also a good crowd in the Western stands and huge crowds beneath both North and South stands watching on the concrete hardstands and sitting in the rows underneath the stadia above, and in the North, the roof.

The cameras during the broadcasts could not look up so absolutely none of the crowd is showing throughout the feed because the weather conditions destroyed the cameras focus and clarity as seen from these shots done from the sidelines where they sacrificed a few cameras to get a higher angle which they couldnt do from the main cameras in the stands without writing them off for a few minutes each time and having to clean and refocus them. Absolute nightmare for the TV crew.

Overall a better crowd and more than what NSW gets.

And look at the Twitter views, 142,300 people watching the feed. That absolutely smashes most Australian rugby ratings and doesnt even include the delayed Free to air feed. It just shows how far ahead of super rugby( i mean East Coast rugby) WA and Forrest are already and they have only played exhibition games.

Really loving the direction the game and comp is heading here in WA

Carlton were a great team. They haven't been at the races since they were banned from the draft.

Wonder how the SR teams did financially with all the super-low prices for membership and the non-attendances.

Next years financial report will be the most interesting.
They threw the kitchen sink at the Rebels this year and it amounted to exactly the same performance as the Force managed last year in the Australian conference. Actually, I take that back, the Force actually finished 1st equal on wins so were far better and didnt have the easy beats, the Sunwolves to help manipulate their points on the ladder

    Should be another loss why:

    - The Reds have had their annual funding forwarded as I expected last year to cover cash flow issues, payouts and problems with their sponsors. They still have to finish paying Knuckles off
    - The Rabble are still getting incremental payments from the Clown College above their annual funding
    - They have to increase Community Rugby funding
    - One less Bledisloe test in Australia this year
    - The RA will struggle to sell out the Argentina and Springbok home games
    - They did not save money from cutting the Force
    - Raelene's salary will be on the report
    - They are still paying out overseas clubs to bring back on injury prone on contract players. Toomua is the latest case

In regards to the states the Brumbies are tipped to make a profit again this year. I suspect the Force will as they don't have to fork out huge overheads to travel overseas and they don't have a bloated front office.

However, the Force may be paying travel costs for invited teams. IIRC, in Super Rugby pre-season there was an issue with the Force getting home games against other SR sides, as we had to pay all the other side's travel costs and they wanted to come with a full squad and all hangers-on. That's why our home pre-season games always seemed to be against Asia Pacific Dragons, and the like.

Which should still be less than sending a team over to South Africa and Argentina than at least two trips to NZ as was the case last year. Internal travel within Australia ain't cheap either. The airfares are exorbitant. That's another advantage the European teams have cheaper airfares. Leinster can travel with Ryanair to Paris for €30 a ticket return whereas for the Brumbies to go to Brisbane on a flight for the same duration it would cost at least $300 return on each ticket .
