Reserve Half Back v All Blacks

With both Sam Cordingley and Josh Valentine unlikely to be available for the next fixture against the All Blacks, who do you think should come to the bench as Reserve Halfback?

    Henjak?

Probably Sheenan - he's the most experienced option with the other 2 out - are there any other halfback wannabes out there?

Is whitaker still in the country?

I lile the idea of giving henjak another shot, i don`t think he`d ruin his chances of playing again.....Give him a second chance

Whitaker would be a great option, not sure if he's still in the country but I'm sure he'd fly back for another chance to sit on the bench behind George

He wouldn't be eligible though, with the ARU's stuborn policy of only allowing players who play in this country to be a Wallaby..

I'll put my hand up for having gone for Pat Phibbs.
The main reason I would go for him in front of Sheehan is he is a known quantity for Larkham, having trained together at the Brumbies for the last two years.
I watched him play for Randwick a couple of weeks ago and he was in sensational form, on the back of an impressive S14 season.
He has 10 S12/14 Caps compared to "favourite son" Holmes none, has four years in the Australian Sevens and has also had a stint with Saracens.
And he comes with plenty of insight into the code at this level with both Owen Finnegan and Warrick Waugh as brothers-in-law!

Henjak I suppose would be the likely choice. I'd like to see Luke Burgess given a go.

Assume you mean Josh Holmes Ex?
My concern with him is that he is a year early.
He played some pretty good rugby in the Unders Champs this year from what I saw but it is a big step from there straight into a Bledisloe and I would be concerned for his longevity, throwing him straight to the wolves without any Super 14 first.
As there are other options, Sheehan/Phibbs/Henjak etc (prob in that order for selectors) I would resist the temptation of finding the new wonder and save him for the easier baptisim on the Spring Tour.
From my limited viewing of him, he is certainly a future Wallaby however, I don't think he is ready yet.

I don't think Henjak will be called up.. He didn't even make Aus A. Sheehan has been called up into the squad, as well as Drew Mitchell.

When answering, kinda aim for who you would put in rather than who you think they will put in though. Otherwise it would be a choice of two (Holmes-Sheehan)

I guess so Burgs - sorry I cant remember his name - the young school kid who was at Coffs Harbour early this year but the media arent allowed anywhere near him.

If that is the kid than that is my vote.

i saw holmes play against fiji for australia a in melbourne. That kid is a classy mover and played really well. That is why he has my vote, second would be Sheehan although he can make poor choices sometimes (but dont we all) as to Henjak i would probably play O'Young before him as a bit of a wild card.

Exile I think you're thinking of Kurtley Beale? He's a flyhalf.
