Former Springbok Peter Grant is likely to miss the Western Force World Series Rugby clash with Tonga on Sunday after he was concussed in the 24-14 win over the Fiji Warriors last Friday night.
The Force full-back was taken off on a stretcher in the first half after being hit in a heavy tackle.
His expected absence could open the door for fellow South African international Jaque Fourie, who is also the side’s defence coach, to line up.
Hooker Heath Tessmann will be tested later in the week after struggling with hamstring tightness against Fiji.
Samoan centre George Pisi, outside back and former Fiji sevens representative Masivesi Dakuwaqa and New Zealand and Samoan under-20 back-rower Henry Stowers could also all be in contention.
