I think Leahy resigned from the VRU board not long after giving his evidence to the Senate inquiry.

There was no motive to target the family and they had no connection.

Just checked Leahy isn't on the board.

Whatever it was, to bring that up and try to connect it to any actions towards Rugby WA is so far out of line that it doesn't belong on here. All references to hershould be deleted from the forum.

Zimeric, if the the photo in your signature is a clue, I think I can understand the strength your feelings about Mugabe. I have many friends from Zim. Apologies.

Also read a comment there someone mentioned they knew people had worked with Clyne at NAB, & a few stories about the going’s on that ‘would make your skin crawl’. Psychopath may very well be an apt description.

I l’m told North told Leahy to retract his in camera statements or resign. He resigned and then told the Senate inquiry about the retaliation but did not want action. Just another good rumour Really good sauce

There was that, and also the issue of Gary Gray being elected back onto the MRRU Board

North should still be done for interfering with the Inquiry. The fact he dialled in to the call twenty minutes late and filibustered in his opening statement should be taken in to consideration.

He maybe a great guy but his boss is on the VRU/MRRU board and confidential documents from RugbyWA have a habit of "suddenly" appearing on tables.
