The Government has to write their own response in to the report and whether they will act on those recommendations so I am not sure when that will occur. One for Hansie, et al to chase up.

mmm.. business opportunity right there. Email me your letter, and I'll print it off, stuff it in an envelope, stamp it, and drop it in a postbox for you. All for a very reasonable fee of course!

This is the Government response to the Inquiry in to Soccer in Australia. The Government writes their bit to say they support the recommendation. It also includes the actions taken by the then Soccer Australia in response to each recommendation. Worth a read to give you an idea on what goes on post inquiry

With all the great work Linda has done I'm sure she will be following it through. Just hope she can get traction.
Linda has actually suggested that WE should start bombarding ASIC as that will help.

Would be worth contacting Sen Reynolds asking when the Government response will be tabled as the RA would have to respond to them and the Committee would also have their backing.

Just on the ASIC site going over their media centre which debunks the small fry argument that apologists are using

    Here are some case examples

I don't know if de Clyne was still at the NAB when that Imperium/RA and MRRU behaviour went on

Apparently Pulver is in the shite with his board, he promised them some good old RugbyWA cash (other that the GST we sponsor them with). He hard balled RubgyWA, when the offer was $650k he demanded $150k more and was told that we did not have it and if he did not take the $650k Twiggy would withdraw his portion of the settlement figure. He stuck to his guns, promised the ARU board he would get the money. Behold, Voluntary Administration starts tomorrow, the ARU will be lucky to see $20 or $30k. Pulver has stuffed up big time and the board not happy.

The ARU are skint, they need to pay out Force contracts, top up the MRRU again and someone whispered in my ear that QLD Reds have 'borrowed' $2m to pay out the endless queue of under performing coaches.

No , I don't think he was either , but once he became chairman it was his job to hold the CEO accountable and he did SFA

The board shouldnt be happy, they have completely failed in all aspects, Billy P is on his way out, leavin with one less super team, a member union in administration, record low attendances, fan disengagement, less sponsors and supposedly the ARU on the brink of insolvency... but hey shiny new office.

How through out all this their so called desire for centralisation just disappeared, they could have had the Reds and Rebels now (and actually dropping costs across the franchises) instead they made sure no other team would ever contemplate being in an "alliance"

"centralisation" and the "alliance" were a smoke-and-mirrors way of getting rid of us. That is now done, so the project team can now disband.

Just more evidence that the agreement was not done in good faith. How else can the board explain this?
