Well i am not really fussed if they do or don't. It will be a huge loss to any media outlet that hasnt had the balls to air any of this stuff. Hopefully sanity prevails and someone in this country gives a shit about corruption and not just the YES vote or our apparent refugee crisis. If no one in the media has the will to air any of the ARUs dirty laundry then I would be more concerned about our media than the FU ARU. The media almost seems complicit in all of this.

I wonder if the ARU can just take everything on notice again? It started to honestly sound like a broken record last time, and this is from their top dog.
I've taken a day's leave and an RDO to make sure.. anyone else going..we need a bigger crowd if possible than we had last time..

I did read stories in the West about the alliance agreement going to the Rabble, how the Victorian Government pressurised the ERU to back down on buying the Rabble and the other bid that would have cost nothing but was thrown out by Puller. I'm hearing there may be a bit more coming from the West too, hopefully before Wednesday. There were also a few interesting stories from Wayne Smith in the Australian.
That should be plenty for any tv media to get a kick start, Put together would make interesting viewing.
Does anybody know if the hearing is being streamed again and what time it starts.

Give them buggery Jo. Between you and Alison, you will have them as a quivering heap of manure.

The audio will be streamed live via the Fed Parl website, but no visuals. The time and program for the hearing has yet to be announced.

I went on green and gold and found someone had posted these figures for the wallaby top ups. If they are accurate it shows the disparity in the fairness of the teams spread across Australian super rugby.

    SALARY CAP : $5 MILLION

extra over and above top up payments:

    Tahs: $2.60 m
    Brum: $1.30 m
    Reds: $1.05 m
    Force $270 k
    Rebs: $120 k
    -------------
    TOTAL $5.34 m

So really the tahs have a $7.6mill cap
    Reds have a $6mill cap
    Brumbies have a $6.3mill cap

Rebels and Force despite having more grass root participants than the Brumbies have a $5.2mill cap.

    What a joke.

That looks about right to me. I think I saw some figures from RWA not long ago that said Wallaby top-ups meant an extra 30% or so for Tahs and Reds and about 7% for us and the Rebels.

Yet another example of how the ARU ensures rugby union is not a national game.

Is that so that if even more people than they're expecting turn up, they can pop over the road to the Arena?

    Yup that is correct

Don't forget that the Rebels were ALSO granted TEN "marquee" spots, where only the first $100k of the player payment was considered in the salary cap...thus Cipriani, Delve, etc while Beale and Judas were top ups. We had Brain-dead Dick, so a fair exchange
