When is the compensation claim for employee mental health issues going to be taken up.

Also it would be good to start a new thread with just extracts of Cameron Clyne and Bill Pulvers statements in chronological order starting a year a go. It seems like Clynes public statements and comments contradict later releases and could go a long way in any other future endeavours. This can only be Clynes statements and not hearsay from other sources.

lou47 a Rebel supporter has summed up the Force situation in a nutshell on G&GR:

This situation is becoming breathtakingly abhorrent. The ARU have the WF licence and as such are custodians of that licence. As such, the ARU have the responsibility to look after that licence to safeguard the licence.
The fact that at the eleventh hour the ARU decided it would be too expensive to continue with the expanded SANZAAR arrangement / or that it would dilute our player base / or whatever reason they are clutching to on the day is neither here nor there.
The fact remains, as custodians of the licence, the ARU are charged with keeping it safe until such time as RugbyWA could take it back - and that's now.
The financial mismanagement of Super Rugby and playing performance of the Australian Super Rugby teams is a completely different matter, one that the ARU should be held to account for - Rob Clarke COO has gone, Todd Day, CFO has gone, Bill Pulver CEO is set to go, it's time for some of the coaches to go and its certainly time for the ARU Board to go.
The Western Force should stay since clearly, the reasons for cutting them is not about the money, it is not about diluting our player base since a lot of talent is coming out of WA ( the only team with a decent coach).

It's a pity David didn't turn the record function on his phone so we could have irrefutable prove of Mr Clyne and his deciet! Something has to give here. How can any sponsors want to have any thing to do with the basket case that is the ARU..

Excellent. A senate inquiry will have powers to subpoena all documents including board minutes, which will be interesting particularly when Geoff Stooke was not present at many board meetings.

The Senate Inquiry will also be able to compel witnesses to be examined under oath. It wil be interesting if they require representatives of Foxtel and/or SANZAR to disclose when discussions started with the ARU about culling a team.

I read it somewhere, but cannae find it, but yeah I recall it was something similar to that which makes the refusal to take Twiggy's $50 million even more non-nonsensical.

On the money. I can recall a case where a large international company had harassed and financially crippled a small group of people over a period of about 6 years. A case was being prepared to overturn this. Affidavits were being sought by a well known WA investigative journalist and at one stage he approached one of the company's Australian managers. On their side staffers were told nothing was ever to be committed to paper or e mail, word of mouth only from day 1 - there was a conspiracy happening. In any event the manager in question replied that "I won't swear an affidavit but if you subpoena me I won't perjure myself for the bastards either". Others soon followed suit the conspiracy was proved, the company's legal straitjacket fell apart and those families could get on with their lives. Last I heard they were counter-suing.

My point is that people in the know might well keep things under wraps under the boss's direction to a point. That point is, in the vast majority of cases, passed when it comes to testifying under oath. Bring on the inquiry. Will be the best thing to happen to the governance of the game in Australia.
