I think one of the cabal commented on Clarke’s consulting gig when giving evidence before the Senate inquiry, saying there was nothing illegal in it and that he had every right to do so. Am I right?

Oh, well if Rob Clarke said it, we'll it absolutely must be true. Call ASIC off, there is nothing for them to investigate, we've all been terribly unfair. The lying toss pot couldn't keep his story straight in front of the inquiry, senator Reynolds had trouble getting a word in he was contradicting himself so fast.

    Where do I start

    - Macqueen and Mortlock were treated like dirt by certain players. They also had their success rates tarnished by joining that shitshow. Waste of their time
    - Poor recruitment
    - Ten imports in a union run competition
    - Trying to import the Brumbies culture and personnel rather than creating their own
    - Division between senior and lesser experienced players
    - Beale punching his captain on tour
    - James O'Connor and Danny Cipriani having their contracts terminated early
    - Unit trusts
    - Two separate one dollar sales
    - Sale to a businessman who was technically insolvent while there was a better deal that would have saved the grassroots millions
    - Two separate one dollar sales, the cabal get re-elected to the board
    - No major sponsor since Rabodirect left
    - Sense of entitlement
    - Importing 12 Force players and the majority of the coaching staff
    - Treating their current captain and one of the few genuine blokes in the organisation like yesterday's rubbish
    - ASIC investigation
    - Weary Dunlop Club. What was set up to promote the game in Victoria was used to set up dodgy deals that have brought Australian Rugby to its knees
    - Cameron Clyne and John O'Neill's childhood dream

Well done Dave you have just reminded the players how crap the joint is.

In 10 years, nobody will remember the force, they will simply be the rebels heritage colours.
The decision was in December 2004, but I take your point.

    Judgment Day.
The decision was made by ARU CEO Archie Flowers to Geoff Stooke & Bob Kucera on 10th December 2004 @ 10.30 am to be exact.
ARU Said "Well mate it's your gig. It's your show now, you blokes do it. We're just here for the support."
Extracts from - Western Force - The Beginning - Pages 11-12.

Pity the current ARU/RA board the custodians of our great game, don't want to support Australia nationally.

    Gary.

The Force were far quicker than the Rebels when it came to recruitment. The Rebels were far too slow so players had already been signed. Top heavy in certain positions and far lighter in others.
