Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

It almost seemed as though there was a little clique of players who appear to almost hog the ball. Most of the phases seemed to involve primarily Foley, Hooper, Folau & Genia, & everyone else seemed to be left on the outer. Although I thought Adam was MOTM for me, TPNwas great, Dane did ok and Richard played solid. They don't seem to be playing as a team, just the usual bunch of egos all trying to get the glory. How the hell Genia wasn't pulled after 20minutes -bloody hell. Too many guys throwing themselves around the field with no apparent plan to me?

Sorry I thought Dane had a pretty off night.

Agree about the team and the way they played. It looked to me like a Waratah, Reds performance. As in insipid and uninspiring with no adaptation when the other team played a certain way.

    Another wallaby post mortem.
    We couldn't find a heart.
We found a Khunt that had his best sporting moments before his AFL career. Seriously WTF?
Tom Robertson comes from the Nick Stiles stable of Australian props. Small. Weak. Flabby. Soft. Can't scrum. Seriouslt WTF?
Sam Carter...picked for work rate. Wouldn't it be nice if we could have some really hard cunts that hurt people instead.
Why can't we select a massive number 6 that smashes people, wins lineouts and carries the ball hard. We seem to prefer Sydney private school ninnies with long flowing golden curls. Gotta love a international forward that spends more time in front of the mirror than his girl friend.
I wont be buying tickets for the next world cup. Who picks these fucking people?

Guess that's a perspective thing hey?
I'm glad your mob came away with it though. We didn't deserve the win and shouldn't have jagged it from that last penalty.
Enjoy it - we'll do you over (again) in Japan when it really counts!

Well that was embarrassing, that last passage of play summed it up. Foley should have kicked the penalty 5 minutes out and then lineout drive, try and we win yet somehow he only kicks it 5 meters and the lineout is outside the 22, very poor.

We need to go back to what worked last year, get more power and mongrel in the forwards. Coleman/Arnold/Timani/Hooper/McMahon

Can anyone tell me why RHP has not been considered as a #6? Not enough mongrel? Mobility? What? He has the desire - alot more than some of the current crop display.

Glad I was watching in Cairns where they don't know much about rugby.

I was watching out for Hanigan in this match, as I didn't think he had an impact in the Fiji match, yet AndyG's stats showed him as having the most ruck engagements. I'd be interested to see if that was the case this time, too, as I thought he had very little impact on this game either.

A back-row of Hanigan, Hooper, Higginbotham isn't one to compete at the breakdown. You need hard b*st*rds like Fardy, Hodgson, Hardwick, Alcock (having a great season now he's getting a run of games!). If you want to pick a lock at 6 to give you another line-out option, pick RHP or Timani, both of whom are taller than Hanigan and hit people harder.

It seems in a handful of years we've gone from the back-row being a strength in the side to it being a liability (more or less since Hooper started getting picked!). We need Pocock back, McCalman and McMahon uninjured, and the youngsters (RHP, Hardwick, Cottrell, Korczyk, Butler, etc) to step up.

It might also be an idea to get Higginbotham to shave and try and recapture the form he used to show as a back-row enforcer rather than an additional winger. You aren't Chabal, Scott, but you used to play a bit like him.

    Maybe Chieka isn't the messiah.

Maybe Hooper can play but can't lead.

Maybe we really really miss Pocock.

Maybe Carter, Nabuli, Cooper, Hannigan, Higginbotham, Robertson are all shite.

    Maybe Kuridrani is past it.

Maybe Foley is the best 10 we have, but isn't really that good.

Maybe I've said all of that before.....
