Bloody good game. Crusaders were a little upset to be refed! Thought they could get away with anything because they are Kiwis!

Was the game a little bit dour with no tries? Yes
Was it still entertaining? Hell yes!!
Did the French ref make a few questionable calls early on? Probably yes, but aren't you supposed to read the Ref's calls... (Hoff..)
Fact: The Lion's blitzed the Saders on most stats. They absolutely monstered them. Well done. Looks like we might have a competitive Lion's tour after all.

The frog ref was obviously called in to save the tour.2 tries in 240 minutes of rugby just ain't going to cut the mustard.
Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
I haven't seen anything from the Lions that would suggest the Kiwis won't win the test series 3-0.

The opposition are all cheats, all the refs are shit and hate the Kiwis, same old crap. It was the ref's fault the scrum got destroyed because the opposition didn't give the Crusaders the respect they deserve and were bad sports.

Pretty sure that's why they start with tour matches and they struggled against the Kiwi Barbarians, with a lot of that side made up of blokes who work day jobs!

I understand that they were against a team of no names but even they would have had more time together than the Lions at that stage of the tour.

Not necessarily...Franks, Whitelock, Dagg, Moody, Romano, Todd, ....... and the rest....
4 games, 2 wins 2 losses. Lion's create plenty of opportunities but don't possess the skills to execute. Yes they have good defence but need to bring more to the table. They seem to have plenty of backrow and inside back's quality but a bit light on for genuine outside backs who can finish.
This tour could get very ugly.
