    Well Done Mark

Simple , Put 20,000 into Nib Stadium for the last 3 games and build it back to the 35,000 plus we had 10 years ago

Makes it obvious that McCusker is the most important player in this now for us - it’s win the court case or we are gone.
The ARU are not taking anything else into consideration - forget about the current strength of the rugby program in WA (WA grown and developed talent), forget about Own the Force, forget about the damage cutting the Force will have on grassroots rugby in WA, it means nothing to the ARU. The ARU want us gone.

I agree if the case doesn't go in our favour we are gone everything else doesn't matter and probably didn't ever in this process.

Without the legal action we would have been gone in April.

Even if we do end up losing the court case, I'd rather go down swinging than go quietly into the night.

One thing Sinderberry said that i don't agree with is about rolling the ARU board will not achieve much. A new board with a new management under it could push through all sorts of changes.

Administrative restructure to eliminate the duplication of services and costs
Alignment and collaboration on development pathways
Better engagement with its State Unions to grow grassroots
A new strategic plan to take Rugby forward
Stronger representation at SANZAAR and IRB level to further Australian interests
Stronger representation within Australia to raise rugbys profile to more than a niche sport.
Push forward with an independent commission to run Super Rugby
Break the control of certain old boys networks who continue to stifle the development of Rugby as a major sport throughout Australia
Reign in the employees who are leaking to the press
Reign in the employees who are making ridiculous deals like the Rebels sale
Reign in the ridiculous salaries and bonuses employees are clearly not earning
Represent more than the interests of 2 out of the 8 states of Australia
Create a marketing strategy to drive interest in Rugby
Reign in some of the petulant antics of our national coach
Tangibly grow the Under 20s and NRC competitions
    Stop being a national disgrace
Stop being an international laughing stock

    Just a thought.

Australia has 6 States, 2 principal Territories (ACT and NT) and several other areas which it claims or administers, also sometimes called "Territories" such as the Antarctic Territory, Christmas Island, etc..

Watching the french top 14 semi , cant help thinking rugby in aus is still heading down no matter what until uk and france based players are back here or at least the loss of players stops. Their comp has highest wages, best crowds, competitive games top players. Why wouldnt you want to go and play there if you had the chance.
Cutting a team, cutting 2 teams will make no difference at all.
We need our franchises running their own show free from the aru and able to contract nz players overseas players

When boards are rolled, replacement tickets are only appointed on the basis that they can do better - otherwise the old board wouldn't get rolled. So if the RUPA are saying "stronger with five" and they, along with others, push for new new board, the new ticket aint gonna get elected with "continuity and change" now are they.

So an alternate board would change the situation if they stood on a ticket of opposition to four teams obviously - remembering ARU has veto of any SANZAR decision.

I think mark is caught between a rock and a hard place..whilst he may privately agree with the rolling of the board, hard for himto speak out too hard against his employer the ARU.

Perhaps singers has an inside line on who the likely replacements would be and can't see a lot of difference. Remember how NSW and qld still have a Pretty clear majority voting members in and more seats to fill than anybody else. If this shit is being driven by the "faceless men" they'll simply pick different people to do the same job. But I agree, rolling the current management is a good plan, even if it achieves nothing more than hastening the Coming of their uppence.
