Is there a way of tracking how many shares have been sold?

Listening to Alan Jones podcast, Sauer believed that the number was somewhere near the initial pledges made, about $7.5m

Who here who could afford to buy shares would be happy for their money to be used to DESTROY the ARU board in the courtroom?

I know if I had 1000 bucks to throw at it, I'd be happy to see the ARU become a wasteland for their part in this duplicitous mess

Not sure which forum to post this on so choose this one

I believe that the ARU should not cancel the Force however when looking at a few things from an outsiders view it raises queries

    - the current board and CEO of RugbyWA will be the board and CEO of the proposed 'Own The Force' entity

-is this the same board and CEO that oversaw the demise of the Force on and off the field to where we are today?

    - possibly the ARU looks at this with some concern

    - was Pulver involved in the decision to expand to 18 teams and 5 Oz teams?

    - would Pulvers current remuneration be impacted by the decision on which team is axed? Is he rewarded on profitibabity ? Cash flow? Growth ? Wallaby success ?

    Refre to this WJM

The key rights of the holders of the A Class Shares are:
    • Board Representation: Two directors may be appointed by A Class Shareholders
    collectively through the Owners Council.
    • Owners Council: An Owners Council will be formed comprising members of the A Class
Shareholders and representatives appointed by the Company from time to time. The
Owners Council will act as an advisory committee to the Board of the Company, and will
have input in an advisory capacity into certain decisions of the Company. The Company will
devise a policy for the election of appropriate A Class Shareholders to the Owners Council,
which policy will also deal with how such members are appointed or otherwise retire.

OK Hubbs (and family) are now the proud owner of a share in the Force. Sure I could have waited while the ARU go through their pantomime, before committing either way, but the sheer arrogance and underhanded dealing that is on display by the ARU with the Force, supporters, and the whole WA Rugby community needs to be dealt with. If its money that talks, then this is one of the best ways to support Rugby WA in taking it up to these #@$!#@!

The future of Rugby in WA is at stake right here and right now! Get on board and help keep the Force, and by default Rugby in the West.

I have bought a share and have emailed the ARU and the WA government about wanting the force to stay. I was just thinking though in the event that we do get the axe some solutions to keep the force alive - we could still use the money raised and buy a licence into the Japanese competition (if they have will have us). It would mean that at the very least we would keep the force alive and give the WA boys a chance to continue playing rugby for their home state. This would mean that they cant play for oz but if it was me - I wouldnt want to play for oz if they cut the force. Also given Japan is the same time zone broadcasting rights would work well and travel too as its not that far. Hell they may even be on board with us playimg in Perth and thus we would still get home games.Just a thought is all - what do you think?

Canberra times are reporting (in an article about Robbie Coleman) that 4670 shares have been sold as of Tuesday evening.

I think that was the number of pledges. The actual purchases are higher I think - 7.5K?
