Never been a great fan of Coleman. He's been mediocre for a number of years now. Good as a backup\injury cover I suppose but not in a playmaker role. I prefer Prior if Lance is injured and then Grant and maybe Coleman

I see Coleman more as a 12 or 15 than a 10. He certainly gives competition to Meakes and Tapuai in the centres and a back-up to DHP. With Morahan, Brache and Rona competing for the wings, we may actually have proper cover for injuries which we've been lacking the past few years in the backs.

Does make it tough on the local players coming through (Matuauto, Havili, Eden, Ruru, etc) but this is the level they have to reach to make it as Super Rugby players.

Coleman is Mr zip zip. He will be a great 12. Hes also used to winning and wont do stupid grubbers everytime he gets the ball like the bellend that left us for the Brumbies. Great swap

I suppose the age-old rugby assertion, that "if the forwards can give the backs some space" etc. Robbie is electric in broken field or open play.

(Though sadly, so were other players who never really reached their potential here)
