One of my 20+ year old TV's died so I finally stepped up and bought a Panasonic TH-42PX60U plasma, along with some important accesories, new DVD player, Xbox 360, ect. Now I just have to get the cable man to bring the HD box before the Super Bowl on Sunday!

Changing the subject, i googled something the other day (I think it was twf from another computer) which led me to a chat site (US) where a participant added NJ after her name . This was followed by a post from LarryNJ, so I knew I had discovered the secret other virtual home of the virtualNJ family!

Missed out on Roger Waters AND Eric Clapton!!! SO pissed off!

Roger Waters coz I was lazy.
Eric Clapton because Testament were on the same night, so I elected to go see them instead but then they cancelled and now Eric Clapton is SOLD OUT! (As far as I know?)
So bummed.

Roger is still in fine form and killer backup musos. Slick, awesome sound. Seriously good with a lot of older punters who went and saw him down at East Freo 18 odd years ago.Highlight of the night was the pig being cut free.He covered everything, early stuff and the whole Darkside of the Moon album in the second half. Then i came home and watched the boys win! How good is that.

I was wondering who Roger Waters was with your first post. Now I'm assuming that he was a member of Pink Flyod. What's the deal with the pig? I was never a big fan of them in the 70's when I was in high school, but I'm glad you had a good time dude. My brother had his bedroom painted like the Darkside of the Moon album cover. It took me 4 coats of paint to cover that shit up when he moved out and I took over his room.

Hang onto all your vinyl albums. Unlike me, my wife has always been a huge music fan. She lost hundreds of alubums several years ago to a flood. The insurance company only gave us something like 10 cents a piece.
