A Great pub to watch tri-nations

Finally there is a pub in Perth that is committed to showing trinations/Bledisloe action live and uninterrupted. It doesn't matter where you are in the place you can see the live coverage on one of many plasma screens and the sound system is awesome.
They even put on free bar snacks at half time. Its not the cheapest pub in Perth but you certainly get looked after.

    See you at The Vic!

nice to hear other pubs are getting live rugby - but it will always be for this little black duck!

Your first post, and it seems likely to stir the pot, as JBs is sort of the unofficial home of TWF members, local and from afar. I`m sure there are other venues, but the atmosphere at JBs with fellow members cannot be beaten, but that doesn`t mean we can`t go elsewhere, but to keep things uniform, and the excellent hospitality at JBs, well, you can`t beat it. But, apart from all that, welcome on board, and hope your future posts are as controversial, to inspire heated debate...

Not a bad pub the Vic - you can never have too many pubs backing rugby!

Originally a New Zealander, Paul's been in Perth for a decade and in the hotel business for 15 years, and he's loving holding the reins of The Vic.

    Is he a Force/Wallabies fan?

I think Paul should contact Coach and advertise on TWF. We support those who support us! He could start with a TWF night. Free beers for the first 2hours for all TWF members.

I was just checking out the menu. I didn't realize you ate kangaroo. How is it?

MACADAMIA KANGAROO LOIN Seared medium-rare, served on roasted vegetables with endive, finished with balsamic glaze and sprinkled with crushed macadamia nuts

I'd probabaly go for the: LIME & CHILLI SQUID SALAD Pan fried squid marinated in lime & chilli, tossed through mixed greens, tomato salsa, mixed shoots & sweet potato crisps

Great investigative work Larry.Kangaroo is tasty and very lean.
The Vic was a great pub before it was renovated years ago.Ive been a few times for lunch and drinks and found the clientle very Subiaco eccentric ie BMW,collagen and air kisses, but hey whatever blows your hair back!
If weepaul is pushing the Force/Wallabies good on him.More the merrier.
