There was a comment on either 'The Roar' (stupid name) or 'GnG Rugby' about Ewen being lured back to the Reds and as a result Nick Stiles being free to take up the job at the Force.

While I think Stiles is a good coach I think the possibility of Ewen coming back to coach rugby is close to the chance of me winning lotto.

Yes this is at best duplicitous.
If your PR department is encouraging you to lie about something that later you will be shown to have lied about it's time for a new PR department.

Good riddance, why would people feel sorry for him he has been paid plenty and will more than likely get a good payout for the rest of his contract.
Another cross against his name for me is that he won't even finish out the season.
Professional coaches, as are players, are paid to perform and if they don't they should expect to be asked to move on.
The only people I feel sorry for are those players who have seen their rugby careers stagnate because of some of decisions.
Kyle Godwin is the most glaring example, wasted a season playing 13 when a blind man could see he is a natural 12.

Yes because the Under 20's are doing so well in the world cup at the moment. We won't progress beyond the pool stages.
If that's what he can do with the best young talent Australia has to offer just imagine what he can do with the current crop of Force players.

I don't think Sharpey had played under him as a head Coach tho. Just as a fwd's coach

I can't see Stiles coming back here even if Ewen did go back to the Reds. He moved away for family reasons and will stay away for those same reasons.
