Above report is from Jamie Pandaram who has been out to get us from day one.

I wonder if he has even been to Perth to see what is happening here or is he just like all media trying to get the outcome to be the worst so it makes it news worthy.

Having seen fellow journalist being affected by a cull in his industry and its human toll, I am not sure how he can keep towing his same line.

Reading between the lines of this journo because the other club isn't under threat.

Force - 46,736 out of 5 games (AVG 9,347 per game)

Rebels - 38,912 out of 5 games (AVG 7,782 per game)

*Rebels have played 6 but cant find figures for Chiefs game, also Lions game was reported as under 6000 but counted as 6000 as no definite number reported.

    So ARU

You have the brumbies leading the conference and no one goes to games

You have the Rebels in Melbourne the self proclaimed sports capital and no one goes to games

You have Force who is above the Rebels and just below the conference leaders... nib stadiums top 15 attendances, 9 are Force games the least being 16,756.

I have a Suggestion ARU, pull your head out of your ass and support rugby like your meant to and you could of had a decent footing out here. The highest super crowd this year by an Aus conference was the Reds home against the Tahs at 18,781, imagine if you acted as custodians of the game what you could achieve

That is the worst piece of 'hackism' I have ever read. Seems that guy can write whatever rubbish he wants with impunity. He is a disgrace to his profession.

Hack or not he's got sources that seem to be legitimate.
    He's not often wrong.
At least he's a windsock for the ARU

Panda has a direct line to Rob Clarke. I think the ARU strategy is to starve us of players and our goose is cooked.

If this is an ARU policy, it is just showing them as the rugby custodians to be the fools that they are with their dictatorial methodologies.

Mr Clyne could not have been more sanctimonious yesterday if he tried.

Worst case scenario, lets say we loose all 15 unsigned players, I believe that we have more than enough club players in WA prepared to fill the roles, yes we will not be competitive, yes we may not get the crowds we want, but guess what we will still have a super team in WA.

The injunction will hopefully ensure this.

I absolutely agree TG. Hence why there has been stoney silence from them for weeks and weeks

and yet, rather than stonewalling and taking the injunction to court, they're going for arbitration.

A sure sign that their lawyers have determined that arbitration is the cheaper option. Given that RugbyWA are unlikely to settle for any amount, they'd better get back to planning how they can buy the rebels. The RugbyWA board need to realise that they have the ARU over a barrel and refuse to entertain anything short of guaranteed continuation until (at least) 2020. Given the vehemence with which the ARU have been trying to screw us over in favour of Melbourne, I would be looking for terms such as "in perpetuity" to legally require our license to be maintained in WA as long as WA are using it.

Otherwise, they'll simply transfer the license to Melbourne in three years.

I know the public statements from the rebels had highlighted the fact that this is part of the damage do the club and that they would be seeking some remedy in relation to this. We are in exactly (or worse) the same boat there. Another cause of action to sue the ARU if it goes pear shaped.

Don't all player contracts have to be ratified by the ARU? If that is the case, their tactic maybe to stall on contracts of players signing for the Force while expediting those for other franchises. This way they will freeze us out of any deal with the significant players and leave our playing roster decimated.

A very dangerous game if they try that.
The Force, if we continue as a super rugby club would then be in a position to sue the ARU for losses that arise due to these actions.
