You'd almost have to assume that since this announcement, someone from RWA has either emailed, express couriered or is on a plane at the moment to hand deliver to the ARU a bunch of signed contracts that have been sitting in a drawer waiting for when they were able to be used.

Cant imagine that the behind the scenes team have been sitting idle waiting to see if we did get cut or not. especially with so many of the players stating that they want to remain at the force.

You'd like to think something like that has been done. But it"s complicated. Some high profile players, or more specifically player agents, keep their cards very close. Just how the sports business operates today.

    good point.

Maybe RWA contracts will get a bunch of signed ones back today or tomorrow that have an issue date from earlier in the year but only were signed today or yesterday

RWA - Manager: "sorry to bother you bud, but how come this contract is signed in black ink but the signed date is in blue and in markedly different handwriting"
Manager - RWA: "one of those things mate, but it's signed"

*Rebels have played 6 but cant find figures for Chiefs game, also Lions game was reported as under 6000 but counted as 6000 as no definite number reported.
Does anyone know how much a ticket to a Rebels game costs, as opposed to a game at NIB stadium? It looks like it's a lot cheaper to be a Rebels supporter. The actual number of people attending seems to be a diversion from how much money is raised in gate takings.
