But there are concerns crowds and sponsors are still difficult to attract for the five franchises, especially for matches against teams from New Zealand and South Africa and the new sides from Argentina and Japan.

I hope they don't think that biased view extends to all franchises. NSW fans don't go to watch Kiwi teams because they don't want to accept the fact that their team will lose, despite all the money the ARU ploughs into it.

Kiwi teams are a financial goldmine for the Force, because every scaffolder in the world comes out of the woodwork to wear black and tell anybody who can't escape listening that "your team is shut" (that happens win, lose or draw)

I'm pretty sure the biggest regular season crowds for the Reds and Waratahs in the last few seasons have been for the Crusaders.

Aaaaah, I guess that means the bursting of the mining bubble is official then.

THat makes the suggestion by the Fin Review that Kiwi games don't draw crowds crap around the country!

Interesting that the ARU bought the Force's Super Rugby license, I wonder if that's where all this movement speculation is coming from?
