Rugby Sevens Sydney: Tickets almost sold out as tournament success looms

But I'm flying back from Sydney this Saturday. Been raining all week at Milton, but today the sun has broken through and it is humid as buggery-not ideal golfing weather! !

Ticket sales look even better after the Wellington Sevens over the weekend - 29,500 overall crowd figure (14,000 first day and 15,500 second day), which is several thousand worse than last year and puts it on track to be the worst crowd of the season. Sydney (and probably the Auckland 9s) will beat that in one day. All this less than 3 years after they were talking up overtaking Hong Kong as the number one tournament on the circuit.

Just flew back in from the Sydney 7s tonight. Definitely the most fun I've ever had at the rugby (apart from that last try obviously) - absolutely brilliant.
