Maybe that's why that other cheating Bastard gave him a whack across the chops a few years back?

What a bunch of mentally weak plodders. Peter Dutton should strip them of their Australian Citizenship.

Australia choked at the death, but that is why Test cricket. You'll never get a rollercoaster match like that in any other form of the game.

Joel Wilson shouldn’t be let in the country if we lose the series. He has over compensated his bad LBW decisions at Edgbaston where he gave batsmen out where it went over by not giving the ones out on the stumps.

isn't there some sort of review system in place now to handle that type of umpire's call?

I'm tempted to say that extra reviews should be available if Wilson is umpiring!

But there are only 12 men qualified to stand in tests, and 7 of them are Australian or British, so there isn't much choice.

    Q. Which English national team has more foreign born players, cricket or rugby?

Well, there are only 3 foreign-born players in the current Ashes side: Stokes (Christchurch), Archer (Bridgetown, Barbados) & Roy (Durban). But that is from a squad of 15 (so 20%).

The English rugby team selected for the World Cup (31 players) has 6 foreign-born players, which is 19.3%: M. Vunipola (Wellington), Underhill (Dayton, Ohio), B. Vunipola (Sydney), Heinz (Christchurch), Tuilagi (Samoa) & Cokanasiga (Fiji).

So are you counting total players, or percentage of the squad?

Apart from the diabolical umpiring which has cut both ways, the loss is down to the previous ridiculous review. Cummins should have told Pain there was no possible way he could have been LBW. And he should have known himself. The next one could not possibly be any more out. Biggest howler of the year.

Exciting, but hardly a rollercoaster ride over four days. More a brief slippery slide.
