Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

The highlight of the Pally v Kala game was the double charge down try scored by Kala in the 2nd half. A highlight because both charge downs were off the head of the Kala lock. Yes a double falcon charge down try. Also the 2nd half push over try by the Kala pack was a thing of beauty. Been a while since i have seen a pushover try at prems level. Another hat trick to the young left winger from Kala giving him 11 tries so far this year.

3 charge downs resulting in 2 tries.

You'd have thought Paly'd learn after the first try from those two charge downs.

A comedy of errors - gave me and AR1 heaps to jest about while waiting for the conversion kick!

There didn't seem to be a lot of structure in either team's play.

Kala did the usual basics - pick & drive and stuff - and relied on a bit of luck (3 charge downs...) plus individual players to do their thing. But they had no obvious structure or game plan.

Glad someone finally mentioned it, but it's out there now.
Yep, towelled up, my mind was transported back to that tragic finals match with the Spirit - THE HORROR.
But one thing you've got to admit he's full on in the personality department. If Olly can develop some really funny/disgusting rugby jokes, along with his current line of practical gags and gotchas he can go all the way.

He would need to be rabidly one-eyed for the Tahs though
