Pindan Premier Grade - Round 5

Couple of interesting games this weekend. My expert picks are as follows:

Paly - Soaks.Fresh from last weekends poor effort Soaks to go down again. Looked very average against Neddies.

Wanneroo - Wests. Wests by lots to not very many.

Cottesloe - Joondalup. Cott to give Joondalup a bit of a touch up.

Neddies - Perth Bayswater. PB normally lift against Neddies but it won't do them any good. Home at the Foreshore Neddies by lots.

UWA - Kalamunda. Toughest game to pick, battle of the forwards should be enthralling but I am tipping the Kala backs to be unorthodox enough to upset the regimented UWA backline.

Pick the pips out of them apples!

Forget Nib Stadium this week, get down to Tompkins Park this Friday night to see some Rugby and have a few beers or non-alcoholic beverages if you're so inclined.

Reserves kick off at 6:45 and the main game kicks off at 8:15.

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

The list normally has no relevance, be brave.

    Soaks by less than 10
    Wests by about 20
Cott by about 20 with no Force players. With Force players 35 plus
    Neddies by 60 plus
    Kala by 7 points

Choice ...maybe you not aware but Wanneroo was leading against Cotteloe untill late in the second halve 14/13 this was with a underpowered team due to 3 or 4 key players being injured. Cotteloe scored 3 tries in the last 10 minutes I blamed the loss on the Wanneroo coaching staff the players ran out of puff and theydid not do any replacements to boost the performance with some fresh legs in the last ten minutes.

Wanneroo will again be competitive this weekend and are close to their first win of the season if they can just play for the full 80 minutes

I will stick to my selection, Cott get ahead of themselves with games they expect to win. Wests will be more ruthless knowing Gracie as well as I do.

Bally, there's a couple up at Kingsway who have tried a little bit of whiteanting, they've been noted already. They should have, made their move last year, no-ones listening now.

    Wouldn't that be pretty counterproductive?

I would think it's better to shit in his throat while it's still attached.
