The noose is around graham's neck. The revolving team and injury list is the only thing that has saved him from the drop. He'll be gone at the end of the year.

The good news for next Saturday is that the weather looks better.
They can only look at this game as a training exercise as they are likely, after Saturday's performance, to be absolutely stuffed.
I think I'll have to bring all 4 hip flasks!

Probs the wrong thread to post this in but this is a great response to Mark Ella's piece in The Oz in which he proposes that the way to improve Aus rugby is to make the Force and the Rebels (official) "feeder teams" for NSW and Qld!!!! I love the reference to the "arrogant and parochial imperialism on behalf of NSW and Qld". Hear, hear x 100 for mine!!!

Well there you have it - a truly amazing view from someone who actually knows rugby (Ella's piece). Unfortunately it seems the powers in ARU actually believe this crap, as evidenced by the massive funding disparity between the Reds, Tahs ..... and whoever those other teams are in the Australian conference. At least he has belled the cat and exposed the real strategy of how rugby is managed in Australia.

Following your logic Mark, perhaps the majority of Australian export income should be redirected to Mother England, then we can return to "the good old days". You short-sighted, imperialistic, wanker, you should be ashamed to look at your ugly mug in the mirror each morning! You don't love rugby, you just pine for those days when you bathed in glory and you don't seem to care who might pay the price to bring them back for you.

No bloody wonder the AFL is kicking our arse!

Maybe that's been the ARU's plan all along?

And before the 'tin foil hat' brigade lay in to me, I challenge you to prove my theory wrong.

Just because you can kick a ball doesn't make you an instant expert/journo/coach/politician/sports commentator. That's basically the whole problem here. And I'm pretty sure there's a long long long list of names to use as examples. And it's a pity that so many of them are allowed media forums to spout their crap and get paid big bucks for it.

I know, right. How the hell can this protection racket be kept up? Supporters and members over here are white hot furious. If the QRU did something stupid like reappoint this loser, there would not be a single Reds membership sold in 2016.

On the Mark Ella piece, we should remember that he lauded the appointment of Eddie Jones to the Reds in 2007. That turned out to be as successful as...well, Richard Graham.
