I think the answer to that relates to local club Rugby. So you probably can't be given an answer as you would then have to be sanctioned with extreme prejudice. Unless you are qualified to comment of course.

Let's hope another week of training and the confidence gained from last week is enough to unleash the outside backs.

Dane on at the 50 minute mark, take whichever back 3 player isn't carrying his weight and shuffle Dane into fullback however it goes.

Bismarck out is a huge plus for us, he's another openside, but one who can scrum!

As long as we can stop Jannie from pulling a Bakkies, and contain their inside backs I think we got dis. Unfortunately, we haven't yet proven any form of consistency, so I'm scared of a lukewarm performance after a good outing last week.

Hope I'm wrong, but Shorks by a try.

Force unchanged for Sharks rugby clash

    AAPMarch 26, 2015, 7:00 pm

The Force are aiming to snap a five-match losing run when they take on the Sharks.

The Western Force have named an unchanged starting line-up as they attempt to keep their finals hopes alive in this weekend's Super Rugby clash with the depleted Sharks in Durban.

The Force suffered a heartbreaking 25-24 loss to the Bulls in Pretoria last week, with the Perth-based franchise sunk by a last-minute penalty despite scoring three tries to one.

In the only change to the squad this week, fullback Dane Haylett-Petty has been named on the bench after recovering from a foot injury he suffered in the season-opening win over the NSW Waratahs.

The Force's finals hopes are on thin ice following five straight losses, and they face a tough ask to snap that losing run against the fifth-placed Sharks.

The South African outfit have won their past six matches against the Force, including a 53-11 mauling when the teams last met three years ago in Durban.

But the Sharks will enter the match without a host of their best players.

Springboks trio Cobus Reinach, Marcell Coetzee and Pat Lambie are all set to be rested under the agreement with the national side, while hooker Bismarck du Plessis is suspended after kicking an opponent in the face.

Force: Luke Morahan, Marcel Brache, Kyle Godwin, Luke Burton, Nick Cummins, Sias Ebersohn, Alby Mathewson, Ben McCalman, Kane Koteka, Steve Mafi, Adam Coleman, Sam Wykes (capt), Tetera Faulkner, Nathan Charles, Pek Cowan. Res: Heath Tessmann, Chris Heiberg, Oliver Hoskins, Wilhelm Steenkamp, Angus Cottrell, Ian Prior, Zack Holmes, Dane Haylett-Petty.

Sharks: SP Marais, Odwa Ndungane, JP Pietersen, Andre Esterhuizen, Lwazi Mvovo, Francois Steyn, Conrad Hoffmann, Ryan Kankowski, Jean Deysel (capt), Renaldo Bothma, Marco Wentzel, Mouritz Botha, Jannie du Plessis, Kyle Cooper, Tendai Mtawarira. Res: Monde Hadebe, Thomas du Toit, Lourens Adriaanse, Lubabalo Mtyanda, Daniel du Preez, Stefan Ungerer, Fred Zeilinga, Waylon Murray.

Combinations good for Force, just not the results

    Nick Taylor
    The West Australian

Western Force coach Michael Foley has named the same starting side for consecutive games for the first time this season as he prepares for tomorrow night’s Super Rugby clash with the Sharks in Durban.
He has made just one change to his reserves bench where full-back Dane Haylett-Petty returns from a broken foot sustained in round one against the Waratahs to replace centre Junior Rasolea.
Captain Matt Hodgson, who is expected to return from a hamstring injury after next week’s bye, said it was pleasing to see combinations coming together despite the last-minute one-point loss to the Bulls.
“It is good to see some consistency and reward for the boys’ efforts against the Bulls,” Hodgson said.
“It showed that combinations are working, especially the centres (Kyle Godwin and Luke Burton). It’s good to see faith in the 15 boys that showed up against the Bulls.
“If we come out firing in that first 20 minutes and shock the Sharks the way we did the Bulls and with a bit more discipline we’ll go a long way to winning.”
The Force have lost seven of the eight games played against the Sharks, including a six-match losing streak that stretches back to 2007.
However, they have been boosted by the Sharks resting three Springboks — flanker Marcell Coetzee, scrum-half Cobus Reinach and fly-half Pat Lambie — under an agreement with the South African Rugby Union to keep key players fresh ahead of the World Cup.
Lambie has scored 90 points — just 10 less than the Force’s season total — and Coetzee is Super Rugby’s joint-top try scorer and top-scoring forward with four in six games.
Sharks captain and hooker Bismarck du Plessis is also out, banned for four weeks for kicking Chiefs No. 8 Michael Leitch in the face last weekend.
The Sharks have made six changes to the team that beat the Chiefs with Jean Deysel making a return as stand-in captain.
They have named Frans Steyn at fly-half but he must face a bizarre appeal by SANZAR this afternoon against a ruling by their own judiciary after he was cleared of dangerous play.
SANZAR judicial hearing chairman Jannie Lubbe found Steyn not guilty after he was sent off by referee Angus Gard-ner for an alleged tip tackle on Aaron Cruden.
The Sharks are expected to appeal against the move and it is understood they want the hearing moved to next week, claiming Steyn will need to prepare for the Force game.
Sharks full-back SP Marais said the side would cope with the enforced changes.
