I only watched the Fox repeat of the game (with limited replays and boring bits cut out). I thought our first half was actually pretty good. Yes we weren't winning the collisions and yes we choked on a few opportunities to get some point but if small things had gone our way, we could have easily gone into the second half going neck and neck.

The loss sucks. But so did the two losses that started our season last year. We can right the ship from here.

Thought the first half wasn't too bad as they seemed to be keeping good pressure on the Canes towards the break, and may have been up more points if not for dropped/missed passes and mix ups. Thought it would get sorted out by Foles at half time but they ended up looking like they've been on holiday or too jaded to be bothered. Were they training too hard last week or what? Inexcusable. Skills level and strategy was really really poor be it coaches or players fault. And I did prefer Zack starting as 10 with Sias looking a bit more confident coming off the bench.

"Western Force scrumhalf Alby Mathewson will be available for interview tomorrow at approximately 8.40am, immediately following a team kicking session"

I'm just wondering if that is an arse kicking session or a tactical kicking session

I remember thinking on the night that Alby's passing wasn't particularly good.
I understand he was getting harrased by the 'Canes but still a lot of passes were late or low.
The defence out wide was also terrible.
