Word on the street is a club has approached another clubs 3 NRC players with the promise of 550 smackers each per game. Works out close to 20 large. Makes it bloody difficult for other clubs when players hear about this sort of dough getting whacked around.

What club has that sort of money? Hope its not our newbie friends cos my understanding is that they are not allowed to approach players from other clubs under the agreement to join Premiers.
Word is a well educated club offered a player returning to his old club $5000 to switch only to find their usual source of income has dried up but another club was more than happy to step in and help the poor boy out with a nice financial offer. They are waiting for his decision
