Would work, but the 8 needs to be the hardest working bloke on the park, hit up all day and follow it up with smashing into every ruck.....not Wills game at the moment.

That could be on the cards if Palu heads overseas after the WC next year.

OK If we're thinking of him as a replacement for Palu at 8, that totally works for me!

I can't see Mr injury staying in Australia when he can go name his price in Japan and not have such a high chance of getting injured. Plus they pay a shitload more.

More strong performances could see Benny Mac retain the 8 shirt as a lineout option long term. They will likely look at playing two opensides, with Pocock wearing 6 and doing the ruck work Hooper dodges when he returns.

Skelton could lift Hooper and throw him about 12 foot in the air. I don't get this not a lineout option shizen. He offers a unique option...hell you could even have a 2 man lineout and have him at halfback and tap it to him to scatter allblacks like 10 pins on his way over the chalk or fark me stand him at 1 in the lineout and throw him the ball...Australian teams used to be tactically clever...now we are the dumbest team in the worldThe bloke is a human monolith. Link is teaching him that the red seas don't part. You earn a wallaby jersey. It sounds like he has been lazy in camp and is getting a wake up call

At least Palu wouldn't have to buy some luggage to head overseas
