Gridiron WA starting soon

My brother plays gridiron down in Canberra, I used to go watch him play all the time until he dislocated his knee.
At one stage a few years ago he got asked to go play for a team in Perth. He is kind of playing again now except for the fact that last weekend he dislocated his other knee the same way he did the first one in a game.

Can we please stop calling the game Gridiron. Gridiron is the name of the field that they play on. Next thing you know we will have Tennis called Court and Baseball called Diamond Lets call it American Football.

For those of you that havent sat down to watch a game of American Football you are missing out on. American football is an amazing game to watch - if you are willing to watch it to enjoy it, not to watch it to critisize it.
