A response I received when I questioned the venue of Subiaco for the coming Test against the BOKs. I advised that whole point of paying good money is to see a Test..but in Subi we are unable to actually "see".....so many fans won't waste their money.. there is hardly any atmosphere to enjoy either because of the many many vacant seats...

    Dear Jo

Thanks for taking the time to send through your feedback regarding the upcoming test match at Paterson Stadium.

Receiving honest feedback from the Rugby community is something we always welcome.

To update you on our plans for Perth and future Test matches – we are committed to hosting Test matches in Perth and are currently reviewing options for 2016 and beyond. The exact venue for future Test matches is yet to be decided, as our current stadium deal is up for renewal at the end of this year.

Please note, when negotiating stadium deals, we will work to match our venues with the estimated crowd size, which as you can imagine varies according to the strength and local interest of the touring teams. Other key factors include the financial returns and operational facilities at the venue.

From an overall Rugby perspective, I hope you’ve been encouraged by the Western Force performance this year. The club has a great leadership team on and off the field and I’m sure you’d agree that it’s been terrific to see their progress this season.

Soon, we will be launching the new National Rugby Championship, featuring the ‘Perth Spirit’ – we hope you have a chance to get along to support this new team.

Thanks again for your feedback – we will certainly keep this in mind in the future.

    Regards

He is not playing in the top flight league, he will have minimal training and turn out once week, he will not doing breakfast to dinner like he does Force HQ, plus he will not have any National duties as would have has here for Rugby Championship, Spring Tour etc. He will have many hours a week more time for him and his family

More money in a shorter period of time it would have taken him to earn here.

But he will still be in Japan, so how does he get more time with his family - are they all moving there too, or is he commuting?

or if he doesnt they all get a working holiday in France.
you cant tell me that Mourad Boudjellal (for example) wouldn't rent him out a 5 bedroom house if he said he was only signing for toulon (again, for example) if his family could stay with him

    Spot on.

The negotiations were between two parties who came to the agreement. We don't get all the details and nor should we for that matter.

It does not matter about all the ins and outs Nick is going so lets support his will and hope he comes back to the west and plays again in Blue ...
We will never beat the ARU form of reasoning so we have to live with it....

JOC coming home and Carmicheal hunt code swapping were more important to the east...
Its like the Memberships recorded ion QLD all a croke of crap
What we need to do is support who is left and whose coming and if we leave the politics out we will all live longer

From something I read his dad said was Nick will have more time to research and look at alternative therapies, some of which I assumed were from Japan.

Given the other factors in the Badger leaving maybe we can get over the Folau bashing from the 1st page of this thread.
