    Ripping software for Mac

So all I want is a 1 for 1 dvd/bluray converter for a new Mac. I want to watch movies and TV shows that I have stuffed away in a draw on my iPad when travelling up to site. Can any one recommend any, the internet is a buzz with the best this our that from weird looking review websites.

Not sure if this is what you are after but I've used iSkySoft iMedia Converter, Bigasoft Total Video Converter and idealshare VideoGo. Maybe one of these is what you need?

movies & ipad storage. That's a no, unless you're paying for them.

You need a Nexus to do that.

You can sync them with ITunes on your computer without having to buy them from the store. iPads don't have a whole stack of storage though, maybe a time machine or similar device would be able to help out.

Darren, do you know of a portable NAS device that runs Plex?

This and the fact that you also need to make sure they are the right format.

    Handbrake is good.

If you can find a way to make Plex happen it has an IPad app and you can use MKVmerge which will convert your videos to mkv, which supports multiple audio streams and subtitles.

It also works on Raspberry Pi.

    AppGeeker Blu-ray Ripper.

I have ever used it to rip all of my blu-ray collections (and a few DVD disc), happy with the results.
