[QUOTE=GIGS20;381765]Don't have a problem with the streaker getting smashed, but It's pretty low to hit him in the back.

/agree 100%. He deserves to be smashed for being a real dumb shit, but not "king hit" which is what this is

The guy had his back to him and was completely stationary and the security guard hit him going flat out... sure streakers are dicks, but he could have been seriously injured...

    I remember a cricketer landing a guy "fair "
and square in the chops with his elbow! I don't think much was said about that!

I was at the cricket at Eden Park. Gregg Chappell was batting when a streaker ran onto the field ad up to the pitch. Chappell reached out and shook his hand. He then held on to his hand and whacked him a couple of times on the arse with his bat. I've seen on the t.v. at a baseball game in the USA a streaker get hit with a tazer. They know they're fair game-always have been. To all the bleeding hearts out there, streaking at sports events is a potentially dangerous stunt-they must know that but they continue to put themselves in that position.

I feel I have to qualify my post.

I have ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM with the streaker getting hurt as a result of a takedown, I reckon anybody who steps onto the field takes that risk.....all good, but to hit the guy full steam from behind when he was stationary and upright seems a little.......overzealous?

If the bloke was on the toe and got hit from behind by a guard who was just making sure he was caught, fair play, level the bloke. If he's smashed into next week from front on, with a chance to prepare for the hit, no foul, but to showboat like that, particularly from a guard who appears to have some training in the game was pretty dumb and (IMHO) evidence of small dick syndrome.

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
