Streaker gets absolutely smashed in New Zealand v England rugby union Test

IT WAS the best hit of the night and it came from the security guard as a streaker was hammered in a bone-crushing tackle during the All Blacks-England rugby Test.

The man invaded the pitch nude in the second half at Dunedin’s Forsyth Barr Stadium on Saturday night.

And it ended badly for him, as the guard lined him up and did not miss.

Some have heaped praise on the guard for the hit, saying it should earn him a spot in the All Blacks team.

But critics claim he used unnecessary force.

“We’re not talking some small hit here or even a grab around the neck in [an] effort to send the nude fan to the ground,” sport website fansided.com said.

“We’re talking a full on, two-footed launch from three feet out that would make hard hitting NFL Pro Bowl talent blush.

“I mean seriously? Look at [the] dude’s neck jerk back. He’s lucky it stayed attached to his head.”

The security guard is apparently a professional rugby player and amember of S15 wider training group. Bit over the top considering, I suppose. But I don't remember anyone bagging Ryan Crotty for nailing the NIB streaker.

Streaker shouldn't have been there - the security guard is just trying to get him to the ground as quickly as he can so that he can be subdued. The hit in real time isn't that bad; fair play to the guard.

Fairly weak effort by coward security guard. The streaker hadn't axe murdered anyone and if you don't have a giggle when you see them running around you are a real boring bastard. Wouldn't be so heroic by the guard if he put the streaker in a wheelchair and the way his head snapped back when he blindsided him he could easily have done so.

Don't have a problem with the streaker getting smashed, but It's pretty low to hit him in the back.

Those who are praising it, how would you react if that was a late hit in the middle of a game, because the impact would be similar.
