I havn't looked up stats to back this; but it seems to me that both those facets have looked better when Steenkamp has been on the park.

Steenkamp and Coleman have to be the starting locks. Wykes should go and play for QLD

Wykes doesn't seem to be hitting the ball up as hard as he used to. He spent a fare bit of time recovering after a few hit ups and looked absolutely stuffed when he went off. He may need to start off the bench and just come in and play the last 20 minutes giving his all as he won't need to keep anything in reserve.

I'm a bit of a snob and say locks need to be 200cm or over. Wykes just isn't big enough to play in the second row and doesn't play hard enough in the tight. He is fairly mobile around the park though. Foley should consider turning him into a 6.

Time to go to SA for another young lock. De Jager looks the goods and botha who played against us in Cape Town also looked like he had potential. With the madness gone it's time to do some lock shopping.
