If I'm honest, I think our last 5 games will end in 3 home wins & 2 away defeats; just stealing 6th place.

I think you are pretty spot on - wins V Lions, Blues and Reds, a tight bonus point loss V Saders and then...... Win V Brumbies to seal the deal...

I think we should get the Red Rabble and the Lions. If we do that the Blues game at home will be the key to the finals. I'd have the Crusaders and Brumbies both with a line thru them.

Should have wins against the lions and reds though theres no such thing as easy games in super rugby. i dont like our chances against the blues, crusaders and brumbies who i think can play the stormers gameplan better. we should always aim high but i dont think we have the complete package to be a contender this season. Our attack needs a fair bit of work but it would be nice to be in the finals while hodgo is at the top of his game. if we dont make the finals i would still pencil the season as a success.

Our goal should be three home wins. Anything else is a bonus. Three wins should comfortably see us through to the finals.

Hoolly didn't mean to thumb down you! Tried to double up but it wouldn't let me. Agree with most of what you said apart from the Brumbies. I believe we can beat them by notkicking they play on it but with good attacking play I think they are fallible.

No more aimless kicking inside the oppositions half and especially in the op's 22 ffs ..... we mite then win more than 2 of our last 5 games.

I'm quite worried about the Lions game tbh. They played well against the Tahs I thought? And our boys will still be battling with the time difference & travel factor this week. If we lose, I think that's us done and dusted for the season - insofar as making the finals goes anyway. The Brumbies' loss this weekend, coupled with ours, has given the Tahs a helping hand they don't need!!

vs Lions - Win (but close as they seem to have the ability to play lose an wide with 15 minutes to go which may allow them to catch up);
vs Crusaders - Loss (to Crusaders too tough at home);
vs Blues - Draw (can't pick a winner here);
vs Reds - Win (especially if they continue playing as they are);
vs Brumbies - Loss (although I hold some hope as we seem to get up for the tough ones).

All in all this would give us the best season ever. Although I would love to make the finals I am proud of what the boys have achieved this year if we don't get a finals spot.
