For fear of sounding like a broken record.. 6IX could do with a hard slap and kick up the rear.. Peter Vlahos reports "sport" for the station and goes on and on about gayfl, soccer, darts, shuttlecock, (Im exaggerating!)..you get the picture even NRL on occasion BUT no Union.. apart from two days last week and I nearly drove up the pavement in shock.!!!
What is it with Channel 7 and 6 IX..???

I always get annoyed when I watch 7 news for updates on the super rugby. NOTHING.
The media shoulder some of the blame here. Rugby isn't getting out there in the news because certain journalists must be scared of rugby taking over AFL.
It would be such a shame if I didnt have to turn 16 pages of AFL news in the weekend west newspaper to see a tiny snippet for rugby (if at all).

Game 2 with just 9,895 was only the second time the crowd has ever been below 10,000, the other one was that wickedly wet and windy night against the (appropriately named) Stormers, before we had a roof and the new stand!!

My boots still haven't dried out properly from that match

Agree absolutely...Nothing from Peter Vlahos this morning.. as usual... how can he say at the end of his diatribe "And that's Sport..I'm Peter Vlahos".... when it is sorely lacking...Cheesh! In Chatting with Clint Wheeldon ( ABC Sports presenter) the other night ( He claims to be a Rugby tragic) I asked what about more exposure on Grandstand. He tells me exposure and discussion is really generated by those who phone in. He said - Get Rugby supporters to phone in and start the discussion - Not "Why don't you ( the ABC) give the Force more cred. etc etc" but posing questions about selections, the game, the opposition and so on.....
