I wouldn't say it's sailed just yet. Fully loaded up and about to depart.. there's still a slither of a chance

And I'm only suggesting the Force consider JOC if he can he picked up very cheaply. If he's wanting a similar package to Ginea, Cooper, Beale etc then forget about it.

Anybody's worth picking up on the cheap, most definitely. They stuff up, we can give them the flick without too much financial problems.

I would rather the effort be put in to retaining Sias Ebersohn.

I think the question that must be asked is "how much are the ARU going to pay JOC to play for the Reds?" Or if not "how much do the Reds have left under the cap to offer JOC?"
There is going to be some skulduggery with this deal how ever it goes.

Based on new contracting rules, the ARU will first have to establish his "value" before anything can happen. I assume he would be considered a Wallaby??

He has virtually no room to negotiate. He will pretty much have one offer and that's it, so he can't play one club off against the other. I think the package he eventually accepts will be considerably lower than what Messrs Beale, Cooper, Ginea etc are on.

Let's cut him a little slack. Apparently the Force have dropped off. He must have realised he was out of options here. Perhaps he wanted to make some quick bucks in Europe before returning here to give Wallaby Status another shot for not a lot of bucks. Initiially. He's kept his head low so far. So I wish him luck. Just not here. As was said; we have other priorities.

I'd be disinclined to, but he would seem mot to be our problem anyway. From what I recall he could have locked in his return to the Force last year but didn't, IMO rolling the dice that the Force would always be there and hoping for another couple of needies by then. As it turns out he may only have one of the latter and the Force may has seemingly moved on - thems the breaks. But good luck to Genia, as an inability to commit to anything but himself would seem to be the reason the Force stopped talking. Don't really care what they do though.

Maybe it doesn't matter. Anybody other than Richard Cranium?

I read recently that the name of 0'Conner was being disgust as a possible replacement for RG! Is all this talk of JOC just to keep RG out of the loop?
