Rampaging? Probably not me then
The lineout has to be the only thing holding cheese back from a wallabies gig. Even if it's
Not his fault!
We lost a few of our own line outs due to the throw in not being straight. That was the only frustrating thing i guess.
We conceded a few too many penalties for my liking.
We were just lucky that the Cheetahs attack was sloppy, otherwise the result could have been bad for us.
The best thing about the game was that Foley spoke about a game plan before the game, and the lads executed it perfectly. The defence was fantastic and the breakdown work ferocious. It led to turnover ball that we converted, a bit like the All Blacks do.
We do well against helter skelter unstructured opponents, as we put them off their game so they end up pushing passes and taking risks.
None of the above is possible, though, without grit, guts and self belief, with clinical precision and everyone knowing their role and trusting the man next to them. I am loving our defensive systems.
I might allow myself to think about the F word......
The force have flowered to their true rugby potential in Bloemfontein
Well done Sias. The local knowledge must have payed off because the kicking and control of the game was great.
Coleman and Brache had their best games so far for us. Have to think on his continued improved performances that Brache has shaded Rasolea.
Love to see that we can soak up the pressure in the forwards and the backline has some bite in counter-attack, that is something that has definitely improved this season.
We owned them at scrum time. That is why they kept opting for the line-out. Still room for improvement there for us.
If Hodgson does not get a call-up for a gold Jersey I will storm ARU headquarters with a torch and pitchfork.
what was with Brache just stopping dead on the right wing? he had 50m of open pitch, with only the full back ahead of him, the rest of the Cheetahs were behind him, and he just stopped, dead, and waited for Godwin to offer an inside runner.
Just looked fucking strange!
