    It's a bloody disaster

After yet another dysfunctional decision the state of club rugby is in rapid decline. Feeling for Gibbo and the Roodogs.Give a man enough rope and the end result is obvious. Volunteers are becoming extremely disillusioned with the whole thing and someone has to take responsibility. The damage getting done is close to terminal

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

Absolute bloody disgrace! The knobs at RWA including Sinderberry, Hill and Foley have decided that two fringe Force players were not getting suitable coaching at Wanneroo, and sent them off to Associates and Wests.

Another knife in the back of Community Rugby from these incompetent clowns.
Gibbo is one of the most qualified and capable coaches in the State, but that counts for nothing when decisions like this are made by this lot.

In building a young team, surely it is beneficial to have a couple of higher level players in the group, even if they are considered second string Force players.

This sort of shit has been going on for years and RWA wonder why volunteers in Community Rugby are giving it all away.

I wonder how much influence came from the two benefitting Clubs, how this decision was arrived at, and on what grounds.

Apparently the Wanneroo Coach was not "managing their training and playing needs"

A sad day for Community Rugby and all the hard working "non paid" volunteers.

Give us a bit of credit Ash. We are as disgusted as you. Give Gibbo a ring and he'll tell you the story

Yeah no offence to you guys Westies, probably could have worded a little differently. Just disgusted at the way they treat the people forming the backbone of rugby in this State.

WOW! When I read Westies rant last night I didn't have any idea what had happened, but it becomes crystal thanks to Bunter.

Gotta say I'm with Westie on this one, it sounds like a massive kick in the nuts to Wanneroo (and I wouldn't know their coach if I ran him over)

If their needs aren't being met by the club they chose, why is the organisation responsible for the development of rugby in this state not shoring up the obviously inadequate coaching structures of a premier club in order to manage the 50 something odd players who are having their development put at risk by an obviously incompetent coach and board?

Whatever RugbyWA use as the excuse for this, it denotes an acceptance that EVERY OTHER PLAYER AT WANNEROO doesn't deserve the same protection.

    That just ain't cool!

Yep, far from cool GIGS. The Wanneroo coach has been involved in rugby in this State for at least 25yrs that I am aware off. This includes coaching and development at State level, and also a development position for the IRB. Shameful slight on a dedicated Community Rugby person who apparently does not fit anymore. As you ask GIGS, are these clowns now going to access all Clubs to see if their chosen ones are being developed as they wish?
I'm right pissed about this interfering decision and straight out slight on the Wanneroo Club, and their Coach.

Is this bit from BDG relevant to the rest of the saga, or just an aside?
