Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

I agree Westie - it such a low key start to the season - no results discussion, no comments no interest?? Whats happening in Club land?

    I care too.

What else would I do on a Saturday afternoon? In the winter time?

+1 I think everyone's just so ecstatic with the way the Force are going that it's all consuming - can't get enough of it.

And there lies the problem! What's the name of this site?
As it happens I was at junior club rugby this morning.

I would ask the question: Does anyone in Club Rugby care about the Force.

I am involved in Club Rugby but only at the junior level, so my comments are on what I have experienced there.

Of the 26 or so families in our age group, my family is the only one with Force membership. Admittedly, many from our group are from a variety of elsewheres including NZ, England, Ireland, France, and South Africa and so have their own teams to follow. Some are only there just to give rugby a try, they stay for a year then move on.
I have just been really surprised how many have no interest in the Force what-so-ever.
    It's disappointing really.

All last year we were told to butt out of club threads and to withhold comments because we were constantly told we have no idea what we're talking about.

All last year the metro rugby thread consisted overwhelmingly of negative comments about the original posters own club, someone else's club, rugbywa, unfair rules, too far to travel, bringing in ring-ins at finals and the rest.

All last year TWF consisted for the most part of positive and passionate discussion over the force which was clearly negated by how much certain regular posters in club rugby hate what the force and rugby wa have done to their beloved clubs.

This year you're asking why doesn't anyone care?

    I care about the force

    I care about rugbywa

and I most definitely care about all levels of rugby underneath the force across WA because I understand the Kyle Godwin's come from those little ones playing on the pitch at half time!

    You reap what you sow!

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

I admit that I don't see my local team play as much as I would like, but I get as much enjoyment (and frustration!) watching the mighty Bulls play as I do the Force.
