How flash would it be to win 5 straight and beat the star-studded Tahs at the same time (shit that's an exciting prospect!) and how much press time have we been getting? We damn near dominated Rugby HQ on Fox - as the CEO said today, amazing what a few wins can do - hope the crowd is big tomorrow night

I just watched Rugby HQ and was disappointed with the amount of time we got it was all reds and brumbiesand what a shame the reds lost after all the talk about how good they are ( Were ) Well done to the Brumbies

ARU rules Israel Folau out of contention

Waratahs fullback Israel Folau has been ruled out of Saturday night’s match against the Force in Perth by the Australian Rugby Union, following further medical advice regarding his throat injury.

The decision was made by the Australian Rugby Union’s Chief Medical Officer Dr Warren McDonald, and was based on specialist medical advice.

“Advice from our medical specialists is that Israel’s throat injury hasn’t healed to the point where it’s in his best interests to return to play tomorrow night,” Dr McDonald said.

“This is a player welfare issue, which has been the focus of all medical staff involved in this difficult decision, and we’ll continue to work on the plan for his return as soon as possible.”

The ARU’s Chief Medical Officer takes all medical advice into consideration – including evidence from team doctors and external specialists – before making a decision about a player’s fitness to return to play.

If I was Dr McDonald, I'd be hoping Coach Cheika didn't have my address.

Seriously? I cant remember the last time we got that much coverage.
PS the Bookie just dropped the Tahs 20c on the 1-12 by the Force - so we now know how they value Folau

Force now $3.20 for a 1-12 pt win

The rugby Gods must love the Force at the moment!
    RG is gone.
RG is now making every state in Au look good! (Apart from Queensland)
    Izzy not allowed to play
AND still the bookies haven't got us as a favourite!

I would prefer that Folau WAS playing Saturday. I'd rather see the Force beat a full Tahs team rather than them using the excuse of a lot of injuries when they lose.

They can whinge as much as they like, (if we beat them) but the record books will show we won not who wasn't there! 😃

I can hear the excuses being shouted from NSW already.
    It's bittersweet news.
Glad their most dangerous player is ruled out, but would have liked to see the Force win with Folau there.

"you don!t catch pass or kick a ball with your throat"

I hope the biased NSW commentators are ruled out with throat problems tomorrow night, too.
