Ideas for Supporter Chants

Team, Lets make NIB the Millennium Stadium of Super Rugby. It needs to be really simple and really loud. How

about for the victory chant:

Use Cott’s “We’re Blue because we’re Blue etc.”

And for encouraging and welcoming the team: "Bloooooooooo !"

And for general shouting we can do: "For-orce"[which I find a bit crass] and “Go Blue”

I thought April Fool's Day was over. And then I realisedyou were serious!
We need to get rid of the demented and ridiculius "Foooorce" clap clap clap.
A simple sharp Force - Force - Force is much more effective and has abigger impact (in my humble opinion). A bit like the Reds-Reds-Reds.

We need to find a common recognisable tune, like Waltzing Matilda and put a few words to it, or ACDC Highway to hell, maybe even get a whole lot of digeridoos - something we can make our own.

Yeah "Fooooorce clap clap clap" was quite easily drowned out by "Chiefs-Chiefs-Chiefs" the other week... until the final siren of course

We have tried in the past to get the crowd going..Unfortunately Fooooorce clap clap clap ... is the only one that seems to catch on..
We even had "meetings" about it at Rugby HQ with Colin Richardson but unfortunately only a handful of us turned up..I'm all for making something our own.. "We are Red" was all over Suncorp the game I went to see..(unfortunately not the last one..) We need some of you guys with big shouts to get the crowd going..

Here is an idea..

SOMEONE get up in Corner Post with a microphone to introduce the new "chant" to all the members in the Corner Post, and if, when they hear it in the stands, they will know what it was and get it going.......

There are certainly more bodies in the Corner Post than what we got in the meetings at RugbyWA!!! ...

I agree we need a new chant. The Red's We are Red sounds really good when watching on the TV. But I am not sure what would work. I do think though we should get John Williamson to come and sing "True Blue" at one of our homes games. The Sea of Blue singing True Blue.

Need to get in touch with "She who must be obeyed" as the Events Manager to get that organised.. Good one ...Like it.. It would be awesome!
