    Wallaby Pocock's scans inconclusive

Wallabies flanker David Pocock is still no closer to learning how longer he will sidelined by a knee injury after a second series of scans proved inconclusive.

The 45-Test flanker reinjured his reconstructed left knee in the Brumbies' Super Rugby win over the Western Force in Perth on Saturday.

He flew to Brisbane on Tuesday to consult with his knee surgeon Peter Meyers but remained none the wiser after further scans again failed to deliver a clear diagnosis.

"The scans were inconclusive so I have to go back and talk to the team doctor and Peter Myers, and obviously talk to the coaches about a way forwards, but at this stage I'm not really sure," Pocock told Fox Sports in Brisbane on Wednesday.

The Brumbies say they are hoping for more conclusive results by Thursday.

It's the same knee Pocock had reconstruction surgery on early last year after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in the round-three clash with the NSW Waratahs.

He's missed much of the last two seasons with knee injuries.

If he was a horse he's be shot by now.

How many games has he played since he left the Force? (yes that is a serious question, he has to be the worst case of leave-force-itis I've ever seen)

My albeit limited research would be 5 games - 3 last year for the Brumbies before getting injured, no Wallaby appearances last year and 2 games this year before getting injured. He's the new Rocky!

Full respect to Poey but so much for Steve Larkham's comments about 'rebuilding' him after he left the Force...

I was thinking more along the lines of Steve Austin (not sure if you're old enough to know who he is ;-))

That's disappointing news especially after being rubbed out last season.

Should he stop playing for the sake of his future life? His knee will be riddled with arthritis by the time he's 40 :-( Is it worth it??

He'll be able to medicate it with the bucket loads of cash he gets for repeated seasons of rehab....
