I've watched the replay and noted the Madness sitting on the sideline in the second half so hopefully not too injured.

36 - that many? - sometimes it doesn't feel like it.

    19 of the 36 wins came in seasons 2007, 2007 and 2009.

If you want to take away those three seasons it's 13 from 73 with 5 draws.

Anyone watch the Force A game last night? Any stand out performances justifying a move into the first team?

CTM was massive at 13 could be a good option. Manu was very disappointing I can see why he hasn't been In the first team. Burton could be something special just sucks that he is a 12 behind Godwin may be time to move Godwin back to 12 and bring burton in.

How did Phoenix and Rory go Gaffa? Either of them any better than Wykes?

Wasn't too impressed with Steenkamp last night either tbh.

Walton plays right on he edge he was good on defence but was playing at 6 didn't do much with ball in hand. Phoenix would be a better option than Wykes after the 2 games yesterday.

The opposition was ordinary. They looked like school boys playing men. It was hard to assess form when there was meagre resistance. It all looked too easy

Even with that taken into account, Phoenix still looked a better option than Sam.

I didn't think Rory did enough though!

I actually thought Wykes went fairly well. I was pretty down on him and the fact that he had been selected to start again. I thought he was doing good work at the breakdown. Needs a little more grunt in his ball carrying, though.

Not much of an indication of form against Junior Japan as it was men playing boys.........

With his efforts against the Reds A Phoenix deserves a run but, on the basis of his efforts to date, he doesn't offer anything more than Sam.
Once match fit Adam Coleman appears to be a likely lad.

By my count the following squad members currently have contracts for 2014 only:

    Chris Alcock
    Phoenix Battye
    Nathan Charles
    Angus Cottrell
    Pek Cowan
    Pat Dellitt
    Sias Ebersohn
    Dane Haylett-Petty
    Jayden Hayward
    Kieran Longbottom
    Salesi Manu
    Alby Matthewson
    Junior Rasolea
    Ed Stubbs
    Chris Tuatara-Morrison

    Have I got these right?

Phoenix must have been a good schoolboy prospect. I can't help but feel that many of these kids would be better off playing 3-4 seasons of hard first grade in Sydney or Brisbane than warming pine and playing z-grade in Perth.

Look at Scott Fardy. The classic example of a late bloomer. This is common with forwards. Phoenix may be cast to the dustbin of history before he reached his physical peak.

What the Farce see in Wykes is an absolute mystery to me. I've seen better players playing second grade in the bush.
