Finally home this year after working away and was looking forward to catching a few force matches. Might be more interested in cranking the homebrew and heading down to club rugby.
I have always given my support to the force but think a donation of$50, my monthly beer allowance, will be healthier than trying to watch them. I alzo cant afford to keep replacing tvs when players n refs do stupid things.
If the aru cares about the game either promote all aussies teams equally or shut them down exceptthe tahs. I am losing faith in watching the same crap eaxh year of "its nsw turn to win the cup". If all else fails im off to the itm cup because the rugby is attacking, fast and attractive.

That's a bloody good point actually. Why doesn't this start up every year for all the teams? Does that mean that there is a fundamental favouritism in Australian Rugby's way of thinking? Why shouldn't it be "Is this the year for the Rebels?" etc. Why should we be thinking of the Tahs as though they are the Real Madrid or Barcelona of the competition? ie- a fundamentally large power club which should always be on top? Having 5 teams in Australia was meant to be a boon for Aussie rugby, being able to stop the player-drain overseas so ALL of our top players get a crack at the Wallabies, all we ended up doing was spreading around mediocrity and having the provinces trying to outbid each other for the best players like a bunch of selfish European clubs.

How 'bout a reality check? (seems like groudhog day after the first round every year). The game is in real financial trouble in Australia. And in NZ also. WE WILL NEVER GET ANY FAVOURS FROM NSW or Qld. Rugby in WA needs to forge it's own path or there won't be a franchise to support. If you enjoy watching live Super Rugby in Perth get on board. But if you only get $50-a-month beer allowance, the homebrew might not cut it. Not even enough for a Foxsports subscription, in fact

Had fox for the last 10 yrs however mrs ug decided it was time to flick it after we moved house.
Ive had gold memberships for tge force when they started over the first few yrs. But with a new family $$ were used elsewhere.
There are good people at rwa doing good work. In this market onfield results are what counts, especially on these real thin financial markets. If you dont get results you dont get the crowd which means no big $.
I remember when the aru bailed out qru because they were broke. Queensland rail, became their major sponsor because there wasnt the support from the private sector because they were struggling for results (mid to late 2000s).
I hope this is not the path the force are on.

Bernard Foley saying that the NZ Super Rugby teams are soft on Rugby HQ........reckon he might receive a bit of extra attention during the game.
You know I hate that sort of smack-talk. It's un-Australian.
